Roasted Garlic

  • 2 garlic heads
  • Extra-virgin olive oil

This simple recipe is an excellent base for your sauces, vinaigrettes or pickles. Excellent on toast for your bruschetta or garlic bread that you can brown. Use this base in your soups or to prepare your homemade hummus. Ideas are endless with roasted garlic


Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200˚F. Cut the garlic heads in 2.

Step 3

Close the foil well.

Step 5

Remove from the oven and check if the garlic is melting.

Crush the garlic with a fork to obtain a paste.

Emulsify well.

Step 2

Place the heads on a piece of aluminum foil and add 2 tablespoons olive oil.

Arrange on a baking sheet or plate. and place in the center of the oven and cook for about 40 minutes.

Step 6

Remove the flesh from the skin with a fork and place in a small plate.

STep 8

Transfer to a small bowl and add about 3 tablespoons olive oil.

Step 10

Spread your bread after grilling. Add the toppings of your choice.
